My Story

Hi, I’m Sofia Barry! Welcome to my blog, I’m so glad you’re here.

In my 20s, I struggled to find a balance between being a healthy, fun person and being a motivated power-wielder at work. As I worked in my high-stress, fast-paced corporate job, I came back home to microwave dinners and rushed mornings. I lived and breathed stress and panic, until I realised something had to change.

I started this blog as a way to hold myself accountable and maybe find others like me who struggle to strike the right balance between work and fun. I started to practise yoga and mindfulness, discovered my love for cooking, and paid more attention to my clothes and self-care. I realised that with a few minor adjustments in my schedule and my attitude, I could exercise in the morning, style my outfit of the day, go to work, come back and cook myself a healthy, delicious dinner that I could eat while unwinding. 

Now that I have finally found the balance I needed all along, I am excited to share my journey as well as my tips and practices with all of you, my readers.
